Guatemalan
Huehuetenango, Guatemala
Rich cacao and bright raspberry from the mountains of Huehuetenango.
Tucked into the remote mountains of western Guatemala, Huehuetenango is the country’s highest and driest non-volcanic coffee-growing region. Warm winds sweeping in from Mexico help protect its mountains from frost, allowing coffee to flourish at elevations reaching approximately 6,500 feet. The region’s dramatic terrain and varied microclimates are known for producing coffees with vibrant sweetness and remarkable complexity.
Grown at Finca La Providencia, our medium roast brings together rich cacao, caramelized toasted sugar, and a bright touch of raspberry. Smooth and chocolate-forward with a lively fruit sweetness, it finishes balanced, warm, and satisfyingly rich.
We roast the coffee every Thursday and mail out Friday. Orders must be placed by 9 pm Wednesday evening in order to ship out that Friday. Any orders placed after that will be mailed out the following week.
